My First Impressions

A Long Sales Page

When I first started looking at the program and writing the truth about abs review, I was skeptical about program about six pack abs sales page. It looked like every other weight loss book, plan or system out on the market – pockets of too much “over promise” was my first reaction at the time. As I continued however, the reason I bothered to keep reading what the program was about is because I had nothing to lose.

The reason is that I have read many similar looking weight loss exercise programs and had been given advice from personal trainers down at my local gym.

But since I simply couldn’t stick to a exercise routine (maybe because I never saw the results I wanted) I simply stopped focusing on what the fitness experts say.

Although I didn’t see results, I was still convinced that there was a solution for me…after all, abdominals are not a myth, they are clearly achievable, as we see them everywhere…and just like you, I wanted to find out how to get six pack.

The big problem I thought of first was that the program guide is ridiculously large. I was really pumped up to learn how to lose belly fat and get 6 pack abs quickly, but didn’t realize that I would have to read so much!

With the truth about abs program, I guess that I’ve got my money’s worth and it was already clear to see that Mike Geary, the author, is not just very knowledgeable about getting 6 pack abs, nutrition and general fitness, but he’s put a lot of effort and time into creating the program guide.

Continuing to read the inspiring introduction, it became crystal clear that the Truth About Abs ebook is equally suitable for women and men alike. I kind of liked the idea that Mike points out “You do not need to do all of these exercises and use all of the equipment mentioned in order to get the outcome that you desire”.

The basic message here is that the Truth About Six Pack Abs program has set out to remove the myths about fatloss and help you to eat and exercise right, in a way that suits you.

The guide It is not so much about becoming a body builder, but instead get a lean body mass so that your 6 pack abs show through naturally…only at this point can you decide if you want to build your muscles from there on out.

For this reason, it is probably why 60% of buyers of guide are women… because there is a stronger emphasis on fatloss as opposed to bulking your muscles up. This makes sense really, as we all have abs…it’s just the flab that covers them which is the problem… so if we can get rid of that fat then we’re going to automatically see a toned stomach and abs as a result.

Does The Truth About Abs Really Work?

Words of Encouragements

Throughout the guide, there’s quite a lot of material to prep you before you actually get into program specifics, and even when you think you’re about to get to the actual core, you encounter a pre-motivational section.

I personally think this is an excellent thing, because it really puts you in the right frame of thinking for getting the most out of the course. It’s really clear just from reading the plan that Mike Geary is determined that this program will work for you, and ensure you take action and stick to this system.

I also like the fact that Mike points out: “There’s no such thing a poor genetics, no such thing as no time…”. This was the much needed prep talk that I needed to propel me forward…

Abandon All You Know About Food

The guide immediately moves onto diets and nutrition. In which Mike points out the importance of this information being just as (if not more) important as any fitness exercise you will ever do. I totally agree about this even before trying out the system. All in all, what good is exercise if we eat 4000 calories per day?

This section of the program is very intense. I think you would be amazed at how much there is to discover about eating correctly, In it Mike shows the hard facts about the food industry, and what you’ve been led to believe about fats, carbohydrates, sugars, whole grain, insulin and much more.

This is a major insight when I read this, it made me think twice about the stuff I was cramming into my fridge and kitchen shelves, just thinking I was doing the right thing like the media and those flashy magazines report.

What was amazing to me was the part about eating the right fats to make you thinner! I’m not sure if you’ve heard of such things before, but at once I soon realized how little info I knew about nutrition.

From here Mike goes into greater depth about fad diets, and why they not only ineffective, (why do you think there are so many released each year?) but why they are essentially damaging to your health.

I personally, was never a fan of these types of diets anyway, but I have a low carbohydrate diet before and ended up with a whole range of side effects such as poor sleeping habits, mood swings, low concentration, low energy and all kinds of aches and pains.

My best advice is, whatever you decide to do please be sure to avoid the temptation of fad diets…they’re just not worth your health! In the program, the diet and nutrition section is more than adequate to resolve the myths about eating correctly, but thankfully it doesn’t come in the form of some restrictive program or precise plan.

The guide literally re-teaches you about food and nutrition, so that you can go grocery shopping more wisely and eat more sensibly al without having to munch on lentils or rabbit food.

A Lesson from Biology 101

As soon as you have gone through the food nutrition section of the guide (this might take a while, but it is worth it, considering that this section is the building block to real weightloss), you have entered into a biology 101 lesson…

This section is all about how to get a six pack, and it kind of feels like I am back in school with all the diagrams, charts and scientific talk!

My feeling is this section is pretty detailed and although I can understand why we have been taught about this, I feel a little bored with reading through this. With some of this info I was tempted to skip ahead, but I didn’t because there was some important details on body positioning.

As you keep reading through the guide you move onto new sections which actually explain why certain abs workout routines don’t work, along with the recommended exercises. This is where the bulk of the program really starts to kick in.

Although there’ has been a lot of reading up until now, Mike Geary does a good job of laying out the info in a way that makes sense to read

and flows in the order that it must be learned. Towards the end of chapter 5 we’re starting to get actual lists of good and bad abs exercises, along with real life pictures of Mike performing them. These exercise images are really clear and are accompanied by easy instructions so that you know what to do.

I started these exercises at home, but there was one routine that I couldn’t do properly in my apt which was one of the leg raises, because you need to have a chin up bar, which I have got…but you also need space above the bar to make the routine work properly, otherwise your legs hit the ceiling!

I found all of the remaining abs exercises to be really easy to do and didn’t need any special equipment to do them. However, although I could definitely feel the effect these exercises were having at the time, I couldn’t say the routines alone were anything you haven’t seen or heard of before.

Workout Routines 411

With this in mind, after you’ve go through the images and instructions you’re hit with the routines that Mike recommends which will incorporate these exercises.

It’s good that Mike provides different levels, as I was ready to move from Level 2 which I started out on almost immediately (but that’s because I was impatient to begin with).

My thoughts are these workout routines are pretty easy to do at the early levels, but you soon start to feel the intensity as you progress forward. Just make sure you don’t rush it like I did. The exercises are not exactly groundbreaking fatloss routines, but still there’s so much more to a lean and toned body than the workout at the gym, as you’ll see for yourself if you read the guide.

Metabolism and Calorie Burning at Full Throttle!

At this point, Mike then has a section on metabolic training and why we see many people slogging away on treadmills and other cardio equipment and complaining about getting not getting results. In the past I had often spent hours busting my guts and reaching a point of almost feeling sick, with nothing but a large gut to show for it.

In this part, the guide was a real eye opener for me personally, as I am sure it will be for yourself as well. In reality, the answers are a bit more complicated, also be prepared to get a complex lesson before you’re shown the exercises that you should be doing.

One thing I did notice about Mike’s programs is that you’ll get a serious slice of the theory and education upfront, which is great, if you have some time to read and learn, but what I liked about all of these sections of learning are they are followed by specific routines that you can literally start and run with from the beginning.

The Negative Points

* Volume of Information

One of the things that put me off a bit at first was the volume of information that I was confronted with after downloading the guide.

I’m an average reader, and I was kind of wanting to get started the program right away.

If I felt like that, then I am sure there must be others people who felt the same way too. Although I would imagine that others would also say that it’s good value for money and that you should read the guide and just take action.

* No Special Exercises

I also thought that a many of the exercises were not new or special, many of them I had seen before in other programs and magazines.

I also must say that it is more to do with how the exercises are combined into a specific routine and nutritional plan, so I am not sure it it’s fair to judge the guide on that basis alone.

* No Audio or Video files

Apart from these points, the only other thing I would say is it would have better to have some of the information shown in either an audio or video format. This is just my personal choice, but I do think that it would make program better for learning, especially if you’re not a big reading.

In fact, I would suggest that you to print off the main manual right away, instead of trying to read it all from your computer screen.

The Positive Points

* Great, No Hype Nutritional Information

I would have to say that the nutritional info is more than just an eye opener, it is more like a life changer. That may sounds far fetched and hypey, but when you see the truth about what you should and shouldn’t eat, the whole mystery about why it’s so hard to lose fat and keep it off is all of a sudden becomes a lot more clearer.

* Excellent Bonus Material

The value for the money here is tremendous, particularly considering the bonus material you get. In fact, if you follow the program properly and make an effort to see it through for a long enough time, you’ll likely not have to use the bonus guides.

* Great Feeling About Results

I’m really happy with my results so far after just a few weeks. I can feel mental changes more than anything, but indeed the pounds are beginning to drop a little at a time (I’ve lost about 8lbs so far and I didn’t even hit the gym yet!) and that’s an amazing feeling.

* Focused Goal Setting and Motivational Advice

I think that I will hit my goals: one being proud to strut the beaches next summer, if I follow Mike’s advice on goal setting and motivation. I was not exactly obese when I started this program, only a few pounds overweight and always feeling tired, so my goal of losing those extra couple of lbs is far more in my sight than it has been ever before.

* Customer Testimonials

And of course, no good product is without its’ share of real life customer testimonials too. There’s an overwhelming amount of testimonials on the Truth About Abs, this certainly does remove a much of the usual scepticism about kinds of programs that I personally tried in the past.

Who’s This Program Right For?

This product is basically suited for people with more drive than the people who only go to the gym after Christmas. You need to have a real genuine desire to get fit, learn how to lose belly fat and get six pack.

Even though the exercises are clearly targeted at getting six pack abdominals, you need to realize this guide is essentially all about losing fat and sustaining muscle mass (instead of losing muscle mass like some diets will make you do).

If you don’t like to read, to any extent, then I would probably recommend that you to steer clear of the guide. I may be a bit harsh for saying that, but I honestly feel that if you’re not ready to learn the truth from reading a fair bit of info, then this program is not right for you.

Having said that, I’ve seen a fair share of videos on weightloss, abs and none of them have covered the info that Mike does in his book The Truth About Abs. So you’ve got to make a choice – Do you avoid the guide because you don’t like to read or do you just bite the bullet and learn some solid, groundbreaking information on weight loss?

For those people who are willing to apply themselves and also give themselves a chance to change their lives, then this program is truly the most comprehensive and great advice on getting fit, with an all round lean and toned body.

This guide could have easily been called “The Truth About Fat Loss”, because that is essentially what you’ll discover in the program. Of course, once you begin start losing the fat and weight, while maintaining your blood sugar levels and energy, you’ll not only mentally feel great, but you’ll start to see those abdominals pushing through rather quickly.

Is this Program Worth My Time & Money?

The Truth About Abs is not for the faint of heart. Do not buy this guide if you’re not prepared to change your ways and actually sit down first and learn the program.

With this guide, the fact is, it is a beast and contains a lot of content that you could spend days reading, before even getting started. But the truth is that even from the first chapter where Mike Geary explains the importance of your mindset, you just know that you are not only about to learn some fundamental lessons that will allow you to finally jump start the weightloss, losing the excess fat, and toning up, but you’re also going to discover things that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

In other words, this isn’t some quick fix guide on “working out”. This is a entire U-Turn on what you had previously thought you knew about eating right (not eating less or dieting), along with one of the most comprehensive weight loss exercise programs to working out the correct way, and not the hard way.

My weight is slowly dropping, but more to the point I actually feel more energized. I can’t see how you would fail to have 6 pack abs (or at the very least a lean body) while you are using this system.

I will admit that I probably won’t apply everything that Mike Geary teaches, because I simply don’t like going down to the gym all the time, but honestly that leaves about 90% of the guide which I can still do from the comfort of my house.

You might need to buy a couple of in-expensive pieces of equipment if you decide to do everything from home, such as a medicine ball, a pull up bar and possibly some floor grips.

The main benefit that I found was the good nutrition and eating advice. I was totally surprised at how mislead the general public are, and once you’ve learned what Mike explains, you could probably lose a lot of fat just from following this advice alone…without the exercise!

These reasons are enough from my truth about abs review to give this program an overall score of 4.8 out of 5.

Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle Review – Weight Loss Exercise Program

Facts at a Glance:
· Created by Tom Venuto, Author, Personal Trainer, CSCS, CEO BurnTheFat.com
· Basic Guide: 300+ page downloadable pdf ebook & bonuses
· 60 day Money Back Guarantee
· Basic or Deluxe Options: $39.95 for Basic and 59.95 for Deluxe
· Focus: How To Reduce Body Fat, Weight Loss Exercise Program, Muscle Growth, Nutrition

What Is In This Program?

How would you like to lose weight following the advice of a bodybuilder, nutritionist, and personal trainer? Tom Venuto is just such a person and he has written one of the best ebooks on weight loss, Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle (BFFM). The best way to reduce body fat, he says, is to use exercise to burn the fat away while simultaneously encouraging muscle growth by using proper nutrition to feed your muscles.

If you’ve ever read a weight loss book before, you know that the standard formula for “diet books” is to spend the first half of the book using scientific jargon to explain how the diet works, while spending the second half of the book discussing recipes you can use that follow the diet’s principles. Many people have a hard time really understanding the scientific principles behind the weight loss plan, making the first half of the book only moderately useful. But if the recipes in the book aren’t to your liking, the entire book is practically useless!

Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is not like this. There are over 300 pages of useful information that is easy to understand and apply to your lifestyle. In the book, Tom Venuto discusses and explains:

*Why setting goals is important for your weight loss and fitness plan.
*Why you may have failed at other weight loss exercise programs.
*The importance of exercise.
*Ways to determine how much to eat each day.
*How to tweak your fatloss plan when it’s not working.
*The best way to find your goal weight.

The Pros

Unlike other diet books, BFFM is all laid out for you in terms that are easy for anyone to understand. Much of the book is so simple, you’ll find yourself thinking “Of course! Why didn’t I think of that?”

Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is not a book for those that are looking for a quick fix. It’s for people that know that weight loss is best achieved through lifestyle changes. It’s for people that want to understand the science behind weight loss and muscle building. It’s for people that are ready to commit to a healthy eating plan and a specific exercise program that will cause you to reduce body fat.

Sure, this may be a simple idea that everyone knows–you must eat healthy foods in order to lose weight. The difference is that this book makes you actually WANT to eat healthy food.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is that it offers solutions for when the plan isn’t working for you. When you fail on other diet plans, you are told that you must be doing something wrong. That you somehow must not be following the plan. Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle accepts that all bodies are different. What works for one person, may not work for another. But there is a way for you to tweak the program to make it work for you. You simply have to find the right tactic, which may take experimentation.

Beyond weight loss, Tom Venuto discusses the importance of goal planning. This is definitely important in your weight loss plans, but it’s also important in other areas of your life. Venuto offers great suggestions for incorporating goal planning into your life, for weight loss and beyond. This makes BFFM an incredibly motivating book.

The Cons

If you are used to buying your diet books in the book store or simply borrowing them from the library, you may be initially put off by the high cost of the ebook. It is important to note, however, that Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is much more comprehensive than other diet books. Additionally, other diet programs such as Weight Watchers or Nutrisystem come with significantly higher price tags, though you may not notice it because it is split up into monthly payments.

Does Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle Work?

If you are ready to get serious to reduce body fat, losing weight, while making healthy food choices and maintaining an active lifestyle, then Tom Venuto’s Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle is the right weight loss exercise program for you.

These reasons are enough from our burn the fat, feed the muscle review to give this program an overall score of 4.7 out of 5.

Turbulence Training Review – Fat Burning Exercise Program

Facts at a Glance:
· Created by Craig Ballantyne, Author, CSCS MS, CEO TurbulenceTraining.com
· Basic Guide: 136 page downloadable ebook & bonuses
· 60 day Money Back Guarantee
· Options: 21-day trial for $4.95 or Pay in Full $39.95
· Focus: Interval Training, FatLoss, Strength Training, Fat Burning Exercise Program

Overview

Most people want to achieve the slim, chiseled look of a movie star, but who has the extra time to spend hours in the gym trying to achieve that look? Fortunately, Craig Ballantyne has created a program called Turbulence Training that allows you to get the body you want in a fraction of the time.

In fact, with Turbulence Training, you’ll only have to work out three times a week, in 45 minutes or less. What more could you ask for in a weight loss program?

The Pros and Cons

If you’re like most people, you’re probably stuck on cardio. All weight loss programs tell you that if you want to lose weight, cardio is the way to do it. Many websites even help you calculate how many calories you burn from doing different activities. The more cardio exercise you do, the more weight you’ll lose, right?

Not necessarily. When Craig Ballantyne was a graduate student he noticed how certain types of athletes seemed more lean and muscular than others. Most notably, he noticed that sprinters often appeared to be in better shape than long distance runners. This idea went against current beliefs. After all, if long distance runners were doing so much cardio exercise, they should have the leaner bodies.

The more he began to research this, the more evidence surfaced that short bursts of energy are more effective in burning fat than sustained cardio activity. This is great news for you because it means that you can actually lose more weight in less time with the Turbulence Training program.

Turbulence Training combines interval training and strength training, with different plans for men and women. The exercise plan is incredibly easy to follow and you can adjust it based on your personal fitness level. The ebook gives you a plan that is very similar to the type of plan you would have if you hired Ballantyne to be your personal trainer.

Of course, no weight loss program can be completely successful if you focus on exercise alone. Nutrition is an important part of the equation. Fortunately, along with the Turbulence Training program, you receive a number of free bonuses, including a special nutrition guide. This book will teach you the best ways to eat healthy, and what foods you should avoid if you want to lose weight.

Does Turbulence Training Work?

Turbulence Training takes things even further. If you really want to be successful in losing weight, you need to surround yourself with supportive people. It’s difficult to stay on track when your friends and family still want to eat junk food and sit in front of the TV.

When you buy Turbulence Training, you also get a free 3 month membership to their forums. This allows you to seek out buddies and get help with your questions, possibly even from Craig Ballantyne himself! Access to this type of social support network can play a very big role in your motivation and success.

The combination of exercise, nutrition, and support that you’ll find with Craig Ballantyne’s Turbulence Training is a powerful recipe for weight loss success. Turbulence Training is not a scam or a quick fix. It’s simply a highly successful strategy to help you achieve weight loss.

These reasons are enough from our Turbulence Training review to give this program an overall score of 4.6 out of 5.

Strip That Fat Review – Fatloss Program

Facts at a Glance:
· Created by Niche Marketing Inc, Owner, StripThatFat.com
· Basic Guide: 95 page downloadable ebook, Diet Generator & bonuses
· 60 day Money Back Guarantee
· Gold Membership or Platinum Membership: $47 for Gold and $57 for Platinum
· Focus: Fatloss Exercise Plan, Diet Generator, Sensible Weight Loss Program

What is in this program?

Strip That Fat is becoming an increasingly popular diet program that helps you to lose weight. The main reason that most diets don’t work is that they are too difficult to maintain over the long term. Sure, you might lose a lot of weight initially when you start the latest fad diet, but after awhile, the effect tend to taper off and when you resume your normal eating habits, the weight comes back on (usually with a few more extra pounds). This is not the way to lose weight!

The Pros and Cons

There are many factors that contribute to successful weight loss, but the food you put into your mouth is usually the most important thing in determining your weight loss success. You can exercise for hours only to eat the same amount of calories you just burned in a candy bar.

Strip That Fat is full of “secrets” that can help you to lose weight. You’ll learn what foods you should eat a lot of and what foods you should avoid. You’ll learn how you can actually eat more food and lose more weight at the same time. You’ll learn some of the ways that you can make your body thing that it is full.

Strip That Fat comes with two different membership levels–Gold and Platinum. The Platinum membership includes extra guides that will boost your weight loss. The extra $10 it costs to be a Platinum member is well worth it.

Of course, knowing these tips and tools is only half of the battle. You actually have to follow the plan to successfully lose weight. Fortunately, the Strip That Fat program comes with a “diet generator” that helps you plan your meals. This means that you can choose the foods that you want to eat, enter them into the system, and have a meal plan prepared just for you. Furthermore, you can print out the shopping list from the program which makes going to the grocery store a breeze (just stay out of the cookie aisle!).

Does Strip That Fat Work?

If you need to lose weight and are looking for a healthy way to do it, something that doesn’t involve hours of exercise every day, then Strip That Fat is right for you. It’s a sensible weight loss program that can help you to lose up to 2 pounds a week.

That may not be as dramatic as the results touted by the Atkins Diet or starvation diets, but the program and weight loss are sustainable over the long term. Finding a program that is based on changing your lifestyle is the key to losing weight and keeping it off.

These reasons are enough from my strip that fat review to give this program an overall score of 4.3 out of 5.

Have you decided to try dieting to shed a few pounds that you have gained over the last year? Have you always been a bit on the heavy side and have now chosen to start working on the issue so you can feel and look better? Have you tried lots of diets but still feel like you are not slimming down the way you really expected to? Despite having the best intentions, there are lots of folks who simply do not lose weight like they think they should. The key to actually shedding those pounds is finding out why fat loss exists only in your dreams. Chances are, one or more of the following are sabotaging your fat loss and weight loss efforts:

1. Focusing only on diet. Although you will probably lose a little weight just by changing your eating habits and getting rid of those fattening foods, you will never be able to get past the plateau without getting up and moving in addition to watching your diet. Exercise is a must.

2. Even though you may be eating healthier foods, you are still taking in more calories than you consume.

3. You are consumed by the need for immediate gratification. Your diet may actually be working and your expectations are too great.

4. You eat too little. Some people go overboard and eat so few calories that their bodies think there is a food shortage, so in an effort to save your life, your body clings to each calorie for dear life.

5. You don’t realize how much you are actually eating. Those few pieces of candy out of the dish off your desk and that piece of birthday cake in the lounge and those tablespoonfuls of spaghetti sauce you taste while you are cooking it, all add up. Watch out for the little snacking.

6. You have an unrealistic idea of proper portion size. For the most part, Americans just plain overeat.

7. Counting calories, dieting, and exercise are not fun. Who wants to do something that isn’t fun?

8. You have cravings you can’t control. Sometimes all that “rabbit food” just makes you want a giant pan of brownies, and if you don’t allow yourself to eat a little bit of the foods you like each day, you are more likely to binge and eat that whole pan of brownies.

9. You give up too soon.

10. Your metabolic rate is messed up and you have not yet boosted it enough to help your body burn off that fat.

Let’s face it; with all the difficulties faced by teens in this day and age, there is no sense in adding ‘being fat’ to the list. If you are a teenager or have a teenager in your life, it pays to begin working toward a healthy weight now or maintaining a healthy weight if your particular teenager is at a healthy weight already.

As with any other subject, peer pressure about weight loss, fat loss, or body image in general can influence teens; whether that influence results in good or bad habits remains to be seen, and as parents and members of society, we should all try to help our teens reach maturity in as good health as possible.

The best way for teens to reach and/or maintain a healthy weight is to enjoy a healthy diet and exercise. Fortunately for most teens, this is easier than it sounds. With youth come three major advantages: strength, agility, and energy. Putting those three natural abilities to work can help ensure that you – the teenaged reader – or the beloved young adult in your life – can be healthy and at a reasonable body weight.

One of the most important ways to get or remain healthy is to get exercise. Again, this is not really all that difficult for most teens. Schools all have extra-curricular activities available, and the great majority of them involve sports or other active participation. If you are a teen who wants to reach a healthy weight or make sure you don’t get too fat, one of the best things you an do for yourself is get involved in soccer or softball or basketball or some other action-related extra-curricular activities.

The next thing you should really do is learn about proper nutrition and then put that knowledge to work for you. That is not to say that you can absolutely never cross through the golden arches and indulge in some French fries. Everyone knows that teenagers are going to sometimes eat fast food, but the key is to limit that kind of food consumption. Going for the greasy burger or pepperoni pizza every once in a while is okay, but don’t forget that vegetables and lean meats are also delicious and good for you, too.

Combining healthy foods like green veggies, lean meats like chicken, and high fiber cereals with an active lifestyle is the best way for teens to break the Goldilocks syndrome. Your weight won’t be too low or too high; it can be just right.
