My First Impressions

A Long Sales Page

When I first started looking at the program and writing the truth about abs review, I was skeptical about program about six pack abs sales page. It looked like every other weight loss book, plan or system out on the market - pockets of too much "over promise" was my first reaction at the time. As I continued however, the reason I bothered to keep reading what the program was about is because I had nothing to lose.

The reason is that I have read many similar looking weight loss exercise programs and had been given advice from personal trainers down at my local gym.

But since I simply couldn't stick to a exercise routine (maybe because I never saw the results I wanted) I simply stopped focusing on what the fitness experts say.

Although I didn't see results, I was still convinced that there was a solution for me...after all, abdominals are not a myth, they are clearly achievable, as we see them everywhere...and just like you, I wanted to find out how to get six pack.

The big problem I thought of first was that the program guide is ridiculously large. I was really pumped up to learn how to lose belly fat and get 6 pack abs quickly, but didn't realize that I would have to read so much!

With the truth about abs program, I guess that I've got my money's worth and it was already clear to see that Mike Geary, the author, is not just very knowledgeable about getting 6 pack abs, nutrition and general fitness, but he's put a lot of effort and time into creating the program guide.

Continuing to read the inspiring introduction, it became crystal clear that the Truth About Abs ebook is equally suitable for women and men alike. I kind of liked the idea that Mike points out "You do not need to do all of these exercises and use all of the equipment mentioned in order to get the outcome that you desire".

The basic message here is that the Truth About Six Pack Abs program has set out to remove the myths about fatloss and help you to eat and exercise right, in a way that suits you.

The guide It is not so much about becoming a body builder, but instead get a lean body mass so that your 6 pack abs show through naturally...only at this point can you decide if you want to build your muscles from there on out.

For this reason, it is probably why 60% of buyers of guide are women... because there is a stronger emphasis on fatloss as opposed to bulking your muscles up. This makes sense really, as we all have abs...it's just the flab that covers them which is the problem... so if we can get rid of that fat then we're going to automatically see a toned stomach and abs as a result.

Does The Truth About Abs Really Work?

Words of Encouragements

Throughout the guide, there's quite a lot of material to prep you before you actually get into program specifics, and even when you think you're about to get to the actual core, you encounter a pre-motivational section.

I personally think this is an excellent thing, because it really puts you in the right frame of thinking for getting the most out of the course. It's really clear just from reading the plan that Mike Geary is determined that this program will work for you, and ensure you take action and stick to this system.

I also like the fact that Mike points out: "There's no such thing a poor genetics, no such thing as no time...". This was the much needed prep talk that I needed to propel me forward...

Abandon All You Know About Food

The guide immediately moves onto diets and nutrition. In which Mike points out the importance of this information being just as (if not more) important as any fitness exercise you will ever do. I totally agree about this even before trying out the system. All in all, what good is exercise if we eat 4000 calories per day?

This section of the program is very intense. I think you would be amazed at how much there is to discover about eating correctly, In it Mike shows the hard facts about the food industry, and what you've been led to believe about fats, carbohydrates, sugars, whole grain, insulin and much more.

This is a major insight when I read this, it made me think twice about the stuff I was cramming into my fridge and kitchen shelves, just thinking I was doing the right thing like the media and those flashy magazines report.

What was amazing to me was the part about eating the right fats to make you thinner! I'm not sure if you've heard of such things before, but at once I soon realized how little info I knew about nutrition.

From here Mike goes into greater depth about fad diets, and why they not only ineffective, (why do you think there are so many released each year?) but why they are essentially damaging to your health.

I personally, was never a fan of these types of diets anyway, but I have a low carbohydrate diet before and ended up with a whole range of side effects such as poor sleeping habits, mood swings, low concentration, low energy and all kinds of aches and pains.

My best advice is, whatever you decide to do please be sure to avoid the temptation of fad diets...they're just not worth your health! In the program, the diet and nutrition section is more than adequate to resolve the myths about eating correctly, but thankfully it doesn't come in the form of some restrictive program or precise plan.

The guide literally re-teaches you about food and nutrition, so that you can go grocery shopping more wisely and eat more sensibly al without having to munch on lentils or rabbit food.

A Lesson from Biology 101

As soon as you have gone through the food nutrition section of the guide (this might take a while, but it is worth it, considering that this section is the building block to real weightloss), you have entered into a biology 101 lesson...

This section is all about how to get a six pack, and it kind of feels like I am back in school with all the diagrams, charts and scientific talk!

My feeling is this section is pretty detailed and although I can understand why we have been taught about this, I feel a little bored with reading through this. With some of this info I was tempted to skip ahead, but I didn't because there was some important details on body positioning.

As you keep reading through the guide you move onto new sections which actually explain why certain abs workout routines don't work, along with the recommended exercises. This is where the bulk of the program really starts to kick in.

Although there' has been a lot of reading up until now, Mike Geary does a good job of laying out the info in a way that makes sense to read

and flows in the order that it must be learned. Towards the end of chapter 5 we're starting to get actual lists of good and bad abs exercises, along with real life pictures of Mike performing them. These exercise images are really clear and are accompanied by easy instructions so that you know what to do.

I started these exercises at home, but there was one routine that I couldn't do properly in my apt which was one of the leg raises, because you need to have a chin up bar, which I have got...but you also need space above the bar to make the routine work properly, otherwise your legs hit the ceiling!

I found all of the remaining abs exercises to be really easy to do and didn't need any special equipment to do them. However, although I could definitely feel the effect these exercises were having at the time, I couldn't say the routines alone were anything you haven't seen or heard of before.

Workout Routines 411

With this in mind, after you've go through the images and instructions you're hit with the routines that Mike recommends which will incorporate these exercises.

It's good that Mike provides different levels, as I was ready to move from Level 2 which I started out on almost immediately (but that's because I was impatient to begin with).

My thoughts are these workout routines are pretty easy to do at the early levels, but you soon start to feel the intensity as you progress forward. Just make sure you don't rush it like I did. The exercises are not exactly groundbreaking fatloss routines, but still there's so much more to a lean and toned body than the workout at the gym, as you'll see for yourself if you read the guide.

Metabolism and Calorie Burning at Full Throttle!

At this point, Mike then has a section on metabolic training and why we see many people slogging away on treadmills and other cardio equipment and complaining about getting not getting results. In the past I had often spent hours busting my guts and reaching a point of almost feeling sick, with nothing but a large gut to show for it.

In this part, the guide was a real eye opener for me personally, as I am sure it will be for yourself as well. In reality, the answers are a bit more complicated, also be prepared to get a complex lesson before you're shown the exercises that you should be doing.

One thing I did notice about Mike's programs is that you'll get a serious slice of the theory and education upfront, which is great, if you have some time to read and learn, but what I liked about all of these sections of learning are they are followed by specific routines that you can literally start and run with from the beginning.

The Negative Points

* Volume of Information

One of the things that put me off a bit at first was the volume of information that I was confronted with after downloading the guide.

I'm an average reader, and I was kind of wanting to get started the program right away.

If I felt like that, then I am sure there must be others people who felt the same way too. Although I would imagine that others would also say that it's good value for money and that you should read the guide and just take action.

* No Special Exercises

I also thought that a many of the exercises were not new or special, many of them I had seen before in other programs and magazines.

I also must say that it is more to do with how the exercises are combined into a specific routine and nutritional plan, so I am not sure it it's fair to judge the guide on that basis alone.

* No Audio or Video files

Apart from these points, the only other thing I would say is it would have better to have some of the information shown in either an audio or video format. This is just my personal choice, but I do think that it would make program better for learning, especially if you're not a big reading.

In fact, I would suggest that you to print off the main manual right away, instead of trying to read it all from your computer screen.

The Positive Points

* Great, No Hype Nutritional Information

I would have to say that the nutritional info is more than just an eye opener, it is more like a life changer. That may sounds far fetched and hypey, but when you see the truth about what you should and shouldn't eat, the whole mystery about why it's so hard to lose fat and keep it off is all of a sudden becomes a lot more clearer.

* Excellent Bonus Material

The value for the money here is tremendous, particularly considering the bonus material you get. In fact, if you follow the program properly and make an effort to see it through for a long enough time, you'll likely not have to use the bonus guides.

* Great Feeling About Results

I'm really happy with my results so far after just a few weeks. I can feel mental changes more than anything, but indeed the pounds are beginning to drop a little at a time (I've lost about 8lbs so far and I didn't even hit the gym yet!) and that's an amazing feeling.

* Focused Goal Setting and Motivational Advice

I think that I will hit my goals: one being proud to strut the beaches next summer, if I follow Mike's advice on goal setting and motivation. I was not exactly obese when I started this program, only a few pounds overweight and always feeling tired, so my goal of losing those extra couple of lbs is far more in my sight than it has been ever before.

* Customer Testimonials

And of course, no good product is without its' share of real life customer testimonials too. There's an overwhelming amount of testimonials on the Truth About Abs, this certainly does remove a much of the usual scepticism about kinds of programs that I personally tried in the past.

Who's This Program Right For?

This product is basically suited for people with more drive than the people who only go to the gym after Christmas. You need to have a real genuine desire to get fit, learn how to lose belly fat and get six pack.

Even though the exercises are clearly targeted at getting six pack abdominals, you need to realize this guide is essentially all about losing fat and sustaining muscle mass (instead of losing muscle mass like some diets will make you do).

If you don't like to read, to any extent, then I would probably recommend that you to steer clear of the guide. I may be a bit harsh for saying that, but I honestly feel that if you're not ready to learn the truth from reading a fair bit of info, then this program is not right for you.

Having said that, I've seen a fair share of videos on weightloss, abs and none of them have covered the info that Mike does in his book The Truth About Abs. So you've got to make a choice - Do you avoid the guide because you don't like to read or do you just bite the bullet and learn some solid, groundbreaking information on weight loss?

For those people who are willing to apply themselves and also give themselves a chance to change their lives, then this program is truly the most comprehensive and great advice on getting fit, with an all round lean and toned body.

This guide could have easily been called "The Truth About Fat Loss", because that is essentially what you'll discover in the program. Of course, once you begin start losing the fat and weight, while maintaining your blood sugar levels and energy, you'll not only mentally feel great, but you'll start to see those abdominals pushing through rather quickly.

Is this Program Worth My Time & Money?

The Truth About Abs is not for the faint of heart. Do not buy this guide if you're not prepared to change your ways and actually sit down first and learn the program.

With this guide, the fact is, it is a beast and contains a lot of content that you could spend days reading, before even getting started. But the truth is that even from the first chapter where Mike Geary explains the importance of your mindset, you just know that you are not only about to learn some fundamental lessons that will allow you to finally jump start the weightloss, losing the excess fat, and toning up, but you're also going to discover things that will stay with you for the rest of your life.

In other words, this isn't some quick fix guide on "working out". This is a entire U-Turn on what you had previously thought you knew about eating right (not eating less or dieting), along with one of the most comprehensive weight loss exercise programs to working out the correct way, and not the hard way.

My weight is slowly dropping, but more to the point I actually feel more energized. I can't see how you would fail to have 6 pack abs (or at the very least a lean body) while you are using this system.

I will admit that I probably won't apply everything that Mike Geary teaches, because I simply don't like going down to the gym all the time, but honestly that leaves about 90% of the guide which I can still do from the comfort of my house.

You might need to buy a couple of in-expensive pieces of equipment if you decide to do everything from home, such as a medicine ball, a pull up bar and possibly some floor grips.

The main benefit that I found was the good nutrition and eating advice. I was totally surprised at how mislead the general public are, and once you've learned what Mike explains, you could probably lose a lot of fat just from following this advice alone...without the exercise!

These reasons are enough from my truth about abs review to give this program an overall score of 4.8 out of 5.

FBF Overview

The diet and weight loss industry is constantly generating billions of dollars every year by selling dieting products and programs. In fact, some of the companies that participate in this business would do everything in their power to convince people to use their products and services that are not only expensive but often ineffective as well. This is the problem that Fat Burning Furnace is trying to address and so far, the system has succeeded in exposing people to the truth about dieting, cardio exercises, and of course the secrets to proper fat burning.

What is Fat Burning Furnace?

Fat Burning Furnace is a fat burning and all-around diet system that provides information and step-by-step instructions on how to lose that excess fat in our bodies through unconventional methods. What I mean by unconventional is not going through weeks of boring and stressful cardio exercises, not going to bed hungry every night, not starving yourself with low-card diets and celebrity-endorsed food packages, that are often expensive and slow to take effect. This system was created and designed by Rob Poulos, a regular guy who has gone through the same dilemma of many people: gaining a lot of fat but not being able to lose it properly, which led to gaining more weight later on. With enough research to actually prove his methods work, Rob created the Fat Burning Furnace: the ultimate guide to losing fat, not weight.

What’s Included in the System?

The Fat Burning Furnace 128 page guide contains tried and tested information on how to lose fat and finally create the kind of body that you would want for yourself without having to sacrifice meals and spending on extra exercise equipment. You won’t also have to waste all your energy every single day on cardio exercises since the Fat Burning Furnace can provide you weekly exercises that won’t take more than 45 minutes. The system comes with 2 options: the FBF Deluxe or FBF Ultimate.

The Fat Burning Furnace Deluxe Fitness System:

· A step by step fat burning blueprint
· 3 months of email coaching
· Free product updates for 1 year

The Fat Burning Furnace Ultimate Fitness System:

· Everything in the FBF Deluxe Plan
· An additional 9 months of email coaching
· FBF Success Toolkit

What are the Pros and the Cons of the Fat Burning Furnace?

The Positives

· A well written 128 page guide
· Support via Email, if you need help
· Excellent instructions eating the right foods at the right time
· Includes effective instructions on exercise and weight training
· Written in an easy to understand, down-to-earth style
· Has a 60 day money back guarantee

The Negatives

· Most of the guide is on exercise
· Could have more instructions on nutrition and diet
· Doesn’t have a lot on cardio workouts
· If you can’t commit to a workout schedule, you won’t like this plan

Is Fat Burning Furnace Worth the Investment?

With the FBF we have found that it is not a scam, the fat burning furnace does work and is one of the few weight loss programs that doesn’t rely on a gimmick, but a good nutrition and diet plan complemented with a solid set of exercise and weight training instructions. If you should buy this program you won’t be disappointed. As long as you put the effort to follow the plan you should see very good fat loss results.

These reasons are enough from our Fat Burning Furnace review to give this program an overall score of 4.4 out of 5.

Is there anyone who has not blamed his or her weight gain or lack of weight loss on a slow metabolism at one time or another? Just about everyone realizes that boosting your metabolism is necessary if you are going to lose pounds and keep them off, but exactly how are you supposed to do that? Get up early every morning and go for a run before work? Laughable for me.Spend a few hundred bucks for a gym membership that you will soon not use anyway? Seems kind of dumb in today’s economy. Fear not, however, for there is a simple way to give the old heave-ho to a slow metabolism, and it requires practically no lifestyle change at all. That’s right, all you really need to do add the right foods to your diet and fat loss can be yours. Here are the top ten foods that speed up metabolism:1. Turkey. That is really good news around the holidays, right? Turkey is a low-fat protein, and protein is great for speeding metabolism. Avoid all the trimmings, though.2. Salmon. That pretty pink fish is high in Omega-3 fatty acids, and even though “fatty” is in the name, those Omega-3s really do help speed up your body’s calorie-burning ability.3. Chili peppers. Chili peppers and other spicy foods contain capsaicin and help get rid of fat that would otherwise be stored in your liver and blood vessels, and the spiciness causes your body to work overtime when you consume them.4. Spinach. Forget about your childhood aversion to the “nasty” green. Spinach is great in a salad and will help you lose weight.5. Nuts. Almonds especially increase the old metabolic process.6. Green tea. The combination of caffeine and EGCG may just help you over the slow-metabolism hump.7. Trout. Just like salmon, trout is high in Omega-3s, and they are just plain healthy, so stick your pole in a lake or hit the seafood counter for a tasty metabolic explosion.8. Grapefruit. The vitamin C and overall nutrition make citrus a miracle food.9. Horseradish. Put a dab of horseradish on your lean steak sandwich and help your body burn the fat.10. Eggs. Eggs are a rich source of protein and your metabolic system will thank you for eating that poached orb.
Let's face it; with all the difficulties faced by teens in this day and age, there is no sense in adding 'being fat' to the list. If you are a teenager or have a teenager in your life, it pays to begin working toward a healthy weight now or maintaining a healthy weight if your particular teenager is at a healthy weight already. As with any other subject, peer pressure about weight loss, fat loss, or body image in general can influence teens; whether that influence results in good or bad habits remains to be seen, and as parents and members of society, we should all try to help our teens reach maturity in as good health as possible. The best way for teens to reach and/or maintain a healthy weight is to enjoy a healthy diet and exercise. Fortunately for most teens, this is easier than it sounds. With youth come three major advantages: strength, agility, and energy. Putting those three natural abilities to work can help ensure that you - the teenaged reader - or the beloved young adult in your life - can be healthy and at a reasonable body weight. One of the most important ways to get or remain healthy is to get exercise. Again, this is not really all that difficult for most teens. Schools all have extra-curricular activities available, and the great majority of them involve sports or other active participation. If you are a teen who wants to reach a healthy weight or make sure you don't get too fat, one of the best things you an do for yourself is get involved in soccer or softball or basketball or some other action-related extra-curricular activities. The next thing you should really do is learn about proper nutrition and then put that knowledge to work for you. That is not to say that you can absolutely never cross through the golden arches and indulge in some French fries. Everyone knows that teenagers are going to sometimes eat fast food, but the key is to limit that kind of food consumption. Going for the greasy burger or pepperoni pizza every once in a while is okay, but don't forget that vegetables and lean meats are also delicious and good for you, too.Combining healthy foods like green veggies, lean meats like chicken, and high fiber cereals with an active lifestyle is the best way for teens to break the Goldilocks syndrome. Your weight won't be too low or too high; it can be just right.
A fair amount of dieters often make the mistake of thinking that if they remove the meat, they remove the calories. Unfortunately, many often substitute nuts, nut butters and high fat cheese for protein. Without the meat, it's very hard to get enough iron and zinc - 2 vital nutrients that help you maintain your energy and performance levels. Don't short-change yourself when making nutritionally unhelpful sacrifices. Always shop smart instead.1.  In beef, some of the leanest cuts are flank, sirloin, and tenderloin. The leanest cut of pork is fresh, cured, canned, and boiled ham; Canadian side bacon; pork tenderloin; rib chops; and roast. Lean cuts of lamb includes roasts, legs and chops; white meat poultry is lower in fat than dark meat.2.  Any meat labeled "select" is a leaner cut than meat graded as "choice."3.  Both ground turkey and ground chicken can contain the skin, which makes it high in fat & calories. Always look for ground chicken or turkey meat for the lowest amount of fat. While ground turkey breast is lower then both.4.  It isn't necessary to remove the skin of chicken before cooking, which sacrifices juiciness. The chicken will not absorb the fat or calories. But always be sure to remove the skin before eating5.  Turkeys that are self-basting have the fat injected into the meat. These types of meat are best avoided by dieters.6.  Always buy water packed tuna and sardines rather than those that are packed in oil.
A fast food place isn't exactly a paradise for nutritious eating, but sometimes you just have no other choice. Try to following these tips for making better choices at fast food joints.Never assume that a salad is the healthiest choice on the menu. For example at Taco Bell, a taco salad with ranch dressing, weighs in at 1,167 calories, has more calories than any other food item on the menu. (with 61 percent of the calories coming from fat) Often salad bars can be a dieting danger zone, as well. For example if you cover your lettuce in blue cheese dressing or add on the marshmallow ambrosia, potato salad and olives, you may be end up worse off than if you order a burger with fries.Any time you order burgers and sandwiches, always look for words like "junior" and "small." In addition order your burger without  cheese, special sauce, and mayo.  Adding lettuce, tomato, onion, mustard, ketchup, and pickles can supply plenty of flavor. Remember to avoid items with the words "super" or "double" on the menu. In the end if you can't stop yourself from having those two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun, at least try to balance out the calories with exercise.
